Description
A striking antique Edwardian cluster ring crowned with a natural scissor cut ruby at its heart, weighing approx. 0.65ct. It has a particularly vibrant cherry-pink hue and is framed by twelve bright brilliant cut diamonds, with SI 1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.24ct total).
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
The piece is fashioned entirely in 18ct gold with a scalloped border, pierced under gallery and London hallmarks within the band, dating to 1903. It would make a beautiful engagement ring with a gorgeous natural ruby taking centre stage.
We recommend you insure for £3,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
